Watchmen’s Wall

As an Abide Community, we want to fill the house with continuous prayer and intercession. If you want to be a part of The Prayer Room, join the Watchmen’s Wall!

 

While we encourage everybody to consistently spend time in The Prayer Room, Watchmen feel the call to not only soak and spend personal time with God, but to spend intentional time in prayer and intercession for their family, Abide, and the Tampa Bay Region during the week. 

 

 

In The Prayer Room, Watchmen:

• Commit to 1-2 hours per week in The Prayer Room on a consistent day and time

• Spend 5-10 minutes per hour intentionally interceding for one or several of our prayer pillars

 

 

Watchmen will also have the opportunity to pray from the microphone during the final minutes of Open Sets according to the prayer pillars, or as the LORD directs them. 

 

Prayer Protocol

• Watchmen pray for 2-5 minutes into a prayer pillar or as the LORD leads

• Watchmen pray regionally, avoiding praying for personal prayer requests from the microphone (please reach out to head watchmen or others for personal prayer requests)

• Keep story/vision/dream sharing to a minimum. We aren’t sharing revelation, but agreeing in prayer.

• Keep introductions into the prayer 30-1 minute at max to have time to focus on praying

 

First Watchmen facilitate the prayer time during open and beholding set. Ensuring prayers are released biblically and healthily. Can open the microphone to those who are not watchmen at their discretion

• if they are not watchmen, ask what they want to pray for and what bible verse they are setting as their precedent 

 

But the priests...of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister to Me..." (Ezek. 44:15)
