"The Main Thing"

is a period of fasting and prayer designed to prioritize our relationship with God and focus our attention on what matters most. Whether you can't imagine your life without prayer or you can't imagine where to begin, the power of prayer isn't determined by the presentation. It's not the strength of our faith, it's the object of our faith that changes things. Whatever you choose to fast, we hope you'll join us.

We encourage you to take part in this great opportunity to draw closer to the Lord.

 

Below are a few fasting suggestions:

 

Full Fast: Only partake in water

Daniel Fast: Only whole grains, nuts, fruits, and vegetables.

Partial/Modified Fast: The partial fast is where you abstain from eating or drinking certain food items. You can chose to skip a meal, or you may choose to eat just certain foods.

The Juice Fast: The juice fast is where you only partake of fruit and vegetable juices.

Media Fast: No television, internet, or social media.
